Visa

The LOC strongly advises participants requiring a visa and/or other travel documentation to enter France to make their application in their home countries at least two months before the intended date of travel.

If you are not an EU, EEA or Swiss national, as a general rule, a visa is required for entry and must be obtained in your country of residence before your departure.  As a general rule, a visa is required, unless you are exempt, and should be applied for in your country of residence before your departure. You must therefore make an appointment with the French Consulate in your country to obtain a visa. Bear in mind that your passport must be valid for a sufficient period. Please note once you have entered France, you cannot make any modifications to your visa.
